Picaflor Kids Review, Discount and Giveaway

Summer is officially here and no one can mistake the season here in Texas. It is H-O-T. With it being so hot, some days I let the boys just hang out in t-shirts or bodysuits to stay cool, but I found out recently if I want to dress them up, I don't have to dismiss style to do so and they can be comfy and cool.

Recently, I was introduced to Picaflor Kids. Browsing the Picaflor Kids website, I swooned over all of the adorable little outfits. What really intrigued me and made my heart happy was when I found out that all of the clothing is manufactured through fair trade practices.

My boys each received a summer outfit from Picaflor Kids to try out. When I opened the package, I could tell that they were well made and I loved how breathable and stretchy the fabric was. My youngest son is shown wearing the Picaflor Kids Julian shirt with matching shorts in light olive with olive trim and my older son is wearing the Julian shirt with matching shorts in the light olive with olive stripe. This outfit is from the 2009 spring/summer collection. As a mom, I liked that the shorts were easy to pull on without zipping or snapping and the buttons on the shirt were super easy to deal with. My oldest immediately ran his hands over the fabric (he is a texture person) and pulled on the shorts a bit to feel the stretch then smiled his approval. We went to the mall and the boys wore the outfits all day, both inside and outside. As they played in the evening the stretch made it easy to climb, crawl, walk and maneuver. At the end of the day the outfits still looked brand new. I think Picaflor Kids clothing is perfect for day to day play wear as well as dress up for church or pictures. Not many clothing items are that versatile and these outfits are easy to take care of because they are machine washable and dryer friendly.
