I remember as a kid being told to hold my sisters' hands, to not wander far and to not speak to strangers when we were out in an unfamiliar territory. In those days, although abductions did occur, it was a different world. You want to do everything you can to keep your little ones safe, right? Kids don't always listen and don't understand that the consequences of not listening or wandering off can be tragic. So, why not combine something they do understand and love with something that gives mom and dad peace of mind?
Recently, a reader told me about an item called SafetyTat. We all know many kiddos love fake tattoos so why not combine that love with something that can bring them back if they get lost? SafetyTat is a safety ID tattoo that empowers kids, according to their website.
...put the odds in your favor for a safe return, with SafetyTat. SafetyTat is a fun and colorful kids temporary safety tattoo that's uniquely offered either customized with your mobile phone number or blank so you can write in your mobile number. When applied to the arm of your child or loved one, SafetyTat provides a highly visible form of identification that stays in place even when wet!Win: Update: Congratulations! We have our winners (One winner was drawn twice so I had to redraw one of the numbers so that we would have three winners). independentmami, Anonymous and Kristy you have been emailed. I thought it was cool that SixFlags has a place where they will apply them to your child for you when you enter the park. What a great idea!

We have a Six Flags just an hour from us, and it was great to hear that they have an area in the park to apply these to kids. How smart of the park!

I would use the Quick Stick Write-On! Multi-Design 4-pack, because of the medic alert symbol on one. This is necessary because my daughter has juvenile diabetes, and is insulin-dependent. Thanks!

i was wondering about this and this is what i found out...Can you add my child's name to his tattoo?
We have chosen not to include children's names on their SafetyTats as an advised safety precaution. We do not want strangers to know your child's name and potentially lure them away
