Moody Mamas for Target.com has put together a wonderful giveaway for Potamus Prefers readers. But first off, creators Marta Abrams and Elise Rosemarin were kind enough to answer a few of my questions.

For moms to be on a tight budget, what are a few staples you suggest to build a wardrobe... Items that can be mixed and matched, building pieces so to speak?
Inspired by what’s hot in fashion right now yet also designed to stand the test of time, we recommend staples such as a smart stylish wrap dress or a cowl neck dress, both of which flatter almost every figure. These dresses are perfect to wear with a cute pair of flats during the day, and a little heel at night. Also, make sure you have an amazing pair of jeans. We love the J Brand skinny jeans. Our Holiday dress that is sold at Target will make you the belle of the ball.

Is your clothing available for plus-sized moms?
Yes. Our line goes up to a XXL. Our designs are very flattering for all shapes and we always take plus size woman into consideration.

How did you get the name Moody Mamas?
We named our company Moody Mamas because we love alliteration and we wanted to give moms-to-be coping with the mood swings of pregnancy a way to change their outlook and boost their mood by giving them a fresh stylish new look .

What made you decide to make maternity clothing?
We wanted to create a line of clothing that would make women feel great about themselves –and lift their spirits. Marta's cousin Shiva was pregnant, and she became our inspiration for developing and designing a maternity line.
Tell me more about the items available at Target.com and how you came to work with them.
Our dream has always been to work with Target. We have been fans of Target for years. It is one of our favorite stores! We worked hard to create designs for Target.com that are comfy and versatile which we hope will be a hit with moms everywhere. Our dresses can be worn time and time again throughout the nine months of pregnancy and even beyond. The Nursing lounge wear we designed for Target feels so soft and is specially designed to be kind to sensitive skin -- It’s sure to make you feel your best when everyone comes to visit you and your new bundle of joy.
I have to say I wish I had these clothes when I was pregnant with my boys. I was on bedrest part of both pregnancies and my jammies were nowhere near as cute as Moody Mama's. I never felt like anything fit right. These clothes look elegant and comfy.
